Beachfront Condo + Pool + Beach Access

Great location. Good price Positive: Location is perfect close to the beach and restaurants. Everything you need you’ll find in the apartment including beach chairs. It was clean and comfortable The communication with the host was great too My favorite part was hearing the ocean waves all night long. It’s a really nice place to stay - not too overcrowded Negative: Reversing beeping trucks every morning. Some of the trucks started their beeping at 4 am!!! I know it’s a residential area but being woken up by that sound was not fun. Another thing I didn’t like was omnipresent smell of marijuana. I know for some people it would have been a plus 😝 but not for me.

The pool area was literally a construction zone with tools, snow fencing and noise. Not fun. Positive: I had to make several calls and texts to get the access code to enter the unit. I received no information about accessing the unit before hand and had to make calls in the pouring rain. The host blamed Booking.com for the lack of communication however I had texted the host many times. The property owner claims to have given me information beforehand but was using the wrong information. The property owner has also lied to Booking.com saying there was no construction when I have photos and video.

For the price the apartment was ok if not looking for a luxury building. Positive: The location was good on main Ave close to supermarket and restaurants. Also the beach chairs and cooler provided to go to the beach was really helpful. Negative: The pictures give a much better appearance Than it actually is. The pool area is taped off for construction and the kids pool was closed. The main building looks like pieces are falling off the building. Not a nice view when in the pool. Apartment was clean but had a musty smell.
