Close to the Plaza de Armas (the town square during Spanish colonial times), this location is perfect for walking to anywhere in Old San Juan. Located on the 3rd floor (no elevator), the apartment is at the end of an open air hallway.The apartment feels very clean and newly renovated. I loved the tile floor throughout. Other than some wear on the couch, the furniture is in great condition. The VRBO photos are very accurate, and the AC was amazing after a hot day of walking the cobblestone streets or visiting Castillo San Felipe del Morro.The size is perfect for a couple. The kitchen was well appointed, but we didn't use it much because there are so many amazing restaurants to try. The bedroom is comfortable and quiet at night (tucked away in the center of the building). The closest public parking garage is Cochera Parking (entrances on San Francisco and la Luna). It is just around the corner, and we were able to pay upfront for the full week and come and go as we please.Note that while this apartment is amazing and has so many positives, a view isn't one of them. The living room window looks into hallway, there are no street views. But honestly, we weren't in Puerto Rico to sit in our apartment. The city and the island are too amazing.Please go to Café Cuatro Estaciones (next to El Meson) every morning to grab a coffee to just sit and enjoy the beauty of the town before heading out on your daily adventures. Caleta del Vino is great for drinks and small plates.
